Ladies Night

My friends and I were long overdue for a ladies night. I was so eager to spend time with them that I completely over looked that fact that they wanted to go to karaoke. I despise karaoke.

They managed to drag me onto the stage and I didn't know whether to run, scream of drop dead of stag fright. Needless to say my first attempt bombed. My friends tried a completely different tactic after seeing my utter disgust of singing in public.

While they took turns singing on stage they buttered me up with some booze. By the third or fourth shot of tequila I had the liquid courage I needed.

I sung my little heart out to "You Oughta Know". It's true that singing really helps you battle your emotions. ;)

I had a little smile by the end of my song.

I even sang a duet with Kae. She sounded great, but I'm pretty sure I'm totally tone deaf.

Mamboo Chic - Meet Megan

Mamboo Chic by Leona Olivieri has comes out with a brand new skin called "Megan". Leona has truly outdone herself with this skin. I am so impressed. She should really be proud of it. It's clear that this skin is a true example of her progress since the beginning of her career. There are so many enhancements including better seams and more shadowing/detail around the neck and other areas.

It comes in 5 different skin tones (Caramel, Ebony, Fair, Honey and Tan). Also there are 8 different lipsticks and 15 makeups in tat layers. You better get into the Mamboo Chic VIP group because Leona is sending out a freebie skin in the fair tone!

I'm also wearing one of the new styles from Mr. Truth Hawks. It's called Isla and it's a beautiful and soft updo. I really like the folds of the hair and how it tucks in nicely at the back. I picked up the brown pack for myself.

Brand new from CandyDoll are these boyfriend Pjs! The top is a deep v-neck cut with a little bow/knot prim on the side. It comes with brief bottoms that hike up at the back.

The jewellery I'm wearing is new from both creators. They're both must have pieces that can go with any outfits. You'll probably catch me wearing them again.

First time is a charm!

I'm am so happy and honoured to have the chance to display some of the AMAZING pieces available at the first edition of My Second Wardrobe. It's a great collection of some of SL's finest designers. For more info visit their site MSW.

I put together three different outfits using some of the pieces from the collection. There are literally so many great buys available that I wasn't able to fit them all into one post. I am also wearing a few of the MANY lovely group gifts from the NEW Truth District.

I really like this dress from KIM. It's awesome that it comes with two different colours for such a great price. As well, this skin and hair are a near steal.

Emma II comes with two different options, one with bangs and one without. Again... what a deal!!! :)

NEW!!!! Boots from KLETVA available only at Modavia! Go, run...NOW! They're soooo wicked. I really had fun putting together an outfit to go with it. I started off much more dressy but released I could take a different approach. I do like how the outfit turned out. Not really my usual style but sometimes it's nice to try something different.

I threw on some tats, my ball cap from Argrace and headed down to the public basketball court. The sim is really cool. There are two run down courts complete with graffiti walls and a metro.

The Perfect Fit

Every summer I find myself going on the search for the perfect pair of jean shorts. This year my search took me to -paper.doll- Creator Zoey Gabardini has made terrific shorts called the "Rolled Denim Shorts".

They are the perfect fit, and I'll tell you why... They come with three different options. The regular "standard" fit, a pocket option and suspenders option. You get three different styles for the price of one.

You could literally wear these shorts all the time and have them look different each and every time you put em on!!! I suggest you get your pixel bottoms down there and get yourself a few pairs. I'm only showing a couple colours but don't worry these shorts WILL BE popping up in my posts again! ;)

Also wearing brand new hair from Exile called "Caitrin". I really like this wavy bob. Exile has just released a while bunch of new styles so check out the demos! Rocking the PM "Fae" shoes again cause they're absolutely stunning! The shirt is from the summer collection at Surf Co. and available in soooooooo many colours!
