Another day @ The Home Expo

I found myself wandering around the expo again today. With some many different sims I doubt I'll ever be able to see it all - but, I'm going to try! ;) This time, I made it to LeeZu, Scarlet Creative, Artilleri and Cheeky Pea.

LeeZu by Leezu Baxter

I am lovin' LeeZu's setup at the expo. I had to stop myself from buying the house right then and there and all the furniture. I just purchased a new house a few weeks ago so I couldn't justify getting another one. But, the didn't stop me from appreciating all the glorious decor that LeeZu had to offer!

For the donation item LeeZu set out a mesh bowl and lamp. Great modern design. I was especially fond of the house set up. I wanted every single piece of furniture in there.

Scarlet Creative by Charlotte Bartlett

I was really excited to see Scarlet Creative at the expo. I happen to be living in one of the houses featured here this year. I really love the modern and creative design of all her houses. I snuck into one of the houses to snap some photos. I really enjoy how you're giving a clean palette to work with. Most of the houses are textured in very neutral tones which makes it ubber easy to decor in a wide range of colours.

Artilleri by Antonia Marat

I've always had a thing for Artilleri furniture. I love how the pieces can fit in a modern house or a retro one. I always have a few pieces from there in each of my houses.

Artilleri has two things out for RFL. I loved both of these items. 

Also a huge fan of this record player. ;)

My last stop for the day was at Cheeky Pea by Isla Gealach

I was so impressed by this house I spent most of my time there walking around. It is not only well designed but so well decorated I wanted to move right in. Most of the pieces are for sale as well, so make sure you browse the selection and pick up a few things!! This house is available for viewing at two locations - the expo and Cheeky Pea's main store.

Roc Me Out

I've decided to give myself a little challenge (since we all know how good I am at those - rolls eyes). I'm going to do my next couple of posts and name them after Rihanna's "Talk that Talk" album. I'm really into it right now. It's great summer music. I figured if I do this, then every time I listen to it, it'll remind me to blog! lol I don't know if I'm necessarily trying to channel Rihanna into my looks, but I guess that might be fun too.



Anyway, on to the fashion bit... I am in love with all the colours available this season!! I've always been nervous about using too much colour but I'm really going to try harder this season to use more of it. I really love each of these outfits.

I went to visit the next collection at C88 and oh wow! I think I wanted every single item available. But, of course that wasn't possible so I picked up a few things to tide me over. I fell for the new hucci romper. I decided on white (go figure) and paired it up with some beautiful teal pump from MAAI.

Oh lala. When I saw Shag's new creation couldn't wait to get my hands on it. I love this big hair do. It was out for Project Themeory. Not quite sure if you can still get it on sale but it is available at the main store and I recommend picking it up. Sebastien did some great roots with this hair so it's def a must-have.

I cannot believe all the amazing group gifts creator Eboni Khan of Hucci has put out. I am crazy about the jumpsuit. I especially love the color. So, thanks Eboni!!!!

I am also wearing two layers of ubber fantastic eyeliner from cStar. It's part of their bold eyeliner pack and it's great if you like to play with makeup and what not.

Ladies Night

My friends and I were long overdue for a ladies night. I was so eager to spend time with them that I completely over looked that fact that they wanted to go to karaoke. I despise karaoke.

They managed to drag me onto the stage and I didn't know whether to run, scream of drop dead of stag fright. Needless to say my first attempt bombed. My friends tried a completely different tactic after seeing my utter disgust of singing in public.

While they took turns singing on stage they buttered me up with some booze. By the third or fourth shot of tequila I had the liquid courage I needed.

I sung my little heart out to "You Oughta Know". It's true that singing really helps you battle your emotions. ;)

I had a little smile by the end of my song.

I even sang a duet with Kae. She sounded great, but I'm pretty sure I'm totally tone deaf.

Leaves are slowly falling

I've finally gotten Kaelyn Alecto to be a guest on my blog. We were both ubber excited when we saw the new release from Shag - Falling Slowly. We were gushing about the style and the length and the texturing. We loved it so much we decided to wear it for this post.

If I haven't said it before I love Autumn. It's my favourite season. I love watching the leaves change colour and the weather getting chilly. When you live in a city you really begin to miss fall colours. I notice that on the feeds more and more people are starting to bring out the fall colours. I find myself doing the same thing. I just can't help it ;)

I really liked Kae's outfit. She wore this very drapey top and jean duo from Connors. It's perfect for this season.

Look at those SHOES! I mean c'mon... they're awesome. They're from a new (to me) store called "Leverocci". I had never been there until my friend told me I should check it out. Boy, was she right! I loved everything. I'll be heading back for more!!! Also, equally loving this new jacket from mon tissu.

Candy White Waterfalls

Brand new release from Hucci called Waterfall Bikini. It's sooooooooooooo sexy! I saw the promo pictures and I was like whoa... haha. I think they're perfect for being a little bit more flashy at the beach. They're def an eye catcher.

I really love the gold ringed collar and the way the top drapes. I'm only showing two colours in this post, but there are tons more to see at Hucci! They come in 13 different colours including a zebra print and few colour fades. Make sure you go to the left when you entered the store and walk pass the lingerie section. They're tucked away in the corner of the store.

Equally impressed with one of the latest releases from "Fab-U-Lous" called Rebecca. Paired with skin from Glam Affair it's a showstoppa!

Culture Shock (Part One) - Hucci & Shag

So... after battling the lag monster that is any major event I was able to pick up a few things from Culture Shock 2011. What can I say that you don't already know?

It's worth the wait...

It's worth the lag...

And, it's for a great cause.

Who needs better reasons? And if you do, hopefully this post might convince you to go for a visit yourself. I'm featuring goodies from Shag and Hucci.

The new hair from [Shag] for Culture Shock is pretty darn cheeky too. "Army of Me" is unisex which is great for all you fellas. Perfect for me cause I love rocking an edgy cut. "The Girl Next Door" is a chunky short pony hair do. Both are fab!!!!!! I plan on using them again very soon. Make sure you head down to Culture Shock and grab them because they are limited edition.
