Ladies Night

My friends and I were long overdue for a ladies night. I was so eager to spend time with them that I completely over looked that fact that they wanted to go to karaoke. I despise karaoke.

They managed to drag me onto the stage and I didn't know whether to run, scream of drop dead of stag fright. Needless to say my first attempt bombed. My friends tried a completely different tactic after seeing my utter disgust of singing in public.

While they took turns singing on stage they buttered me up with some booze. By the third or fourth shot of tequila I had the liquid courage I needed.

I sung my little heart out to "You Oughta Know". It's true that singing really helps you battle your emotions. ;)

I had a little smile by the end of my song.

I even sang a duet with Kae. She sounded great, but I'm pretty sure I'm totally tone deaf.

Brand new shoes out at N-core. When I tried these shoes on, I was so impressed. The name Poison is perfect for this new shoe. It's sexy and fierce and so very saucy. You have to go get a pair for yourself.

The brand new C88 is out! This collection is huge. It now has two rooms and tons more of selection. I picked up this dress and necklace. I think this dress is absolutely stunning. I love the lace top and the fit of the skirt. For only 88L$ you can't go wrong! I also picked up this skin from C88. I love the eyes and the lips on this Illusory skin. The were perfect when paired with the new hair from Truth. This hair is big and beautiful!!!

It's the simple life for me

I really like the rustic nature of this shot. I'm wearing some comfies and chilling in my pixel pick up. It can't get much better than that.

If you didn't already know Aoharu is having a HUGE sale!! I cannot remember the last time there was a sale so make sure you head down and take advantage of it - ASAP. I picked up all the things I've been really wanting. Including this jacket. I have it in another colour and I thought one more couldn't hurt.

Also! There is a brand new release from Izzie's! I'm really stoked by these eyes. They come with prim options so that means you can have different coloured eyes. I personally love wearing two different colour eyes so I'm ubber pumped that Izzie is offering this option.

I'm also wearing the new Izzie's release for Fashionably Late. For the price of one you get jean shorts and full length jeans. Pretty awesome!

Hair Fair 2011 - Part Two

I thought it might be neat to have a male perspective on Hair Fair so I asked my buddy Howard Rushwald to help me out with this post.

I'm featuring hair for AOHARU. I am so impressed with these designs. I really love the ribbon that's woven through two of the hair styles. Props to you AOHARU for some rockin' hair.

Megan comes with a colour change script in the hat. I really love the shape of the hat it looks so realistic. I especially love the length of this hair. Not too long but not short either.

The ribbon in these next two styles comes with a colour changing script. With a simple click this hair can match any outfit. It's so super cute.

AOHARU was on the ball with this style. I love the up-do and the ribbon. Beautiful!

Now for the dudes...

Darell is a beanie hat/hair mix and it's super hot. I love the way it fits. I told Howard this was def a good purchase.

I had to admit I was excited to see NSD's hair releases. I've seen NSD styles on a few of my male friends and they're all super nice. Lovejoy is a great style!

I really like the way Rob angles to the side. I especially love the texturing on both these hairs.

Culture Shock (Part Three)

Another post of Culture Shock goodness!! I figure I spent so much time trying to walk around I wouldn't feel justified if I didn't do another post. I think all the creators did a wonderful job contributing to this event and I hope they're able to raise a lot! Fingers crossed!!!

Some of the items are obviously not from CS. There is one in particular that I really want to point out, and those are the new pumps from "C'est Moi!". I happened to met creator Marcantonio Beaumont of "C'est Moi" in his store. And he's SUPER NICE! Despite the amount of shopping I do I hardly ever see designers let alone talk to them. It's was awesome to have the chance to talk to a designer. There is a whole line-up of great colours of these pumps, so head over and get a pair.
