CHIC²

It's Chic Management's 2nd birthday and to celebrate there will be another great event!! WOOHOO! It's called CHIC²! At the event there will about 150 brands with one new and exclusive product. The event opens on June 3rd and closes on the 24th.

I dropped into the event for a little sneak peak and picked up a few things. One of which was a dress by Izzie. I was equally lucky that Izzie just so happened to be available to snap some pics of her new Anne dress.

The Anne dress comes in six different colours, which are all exclusive at CHIC².

As well as the dress, I picked up Wasabi Pill's brand new release called Anais 2. I'm so excited to see the braids with the let down hair.

I am also wearing another exclusive CHIC² item from Al Vulo. It's called Baba2 and I am loving the details on this skin. I especially love the eyeshadows. I paired it with another CHIC² item from Pekka. All in all, CHIC² is amazing!!

Another day @ The Home Expo

I found myself wandering around the expo again today. With some many different sims I doubt I'll ever be able to see it all - but, I'm going to try! ;) This time, I made it to LeeZu, Scarlet Creative, Artilleri and Cheeky Pea.

LeeZu by Leezu Baxter

I am lovin' LeeZu's setup at the expo. I had to stop myself from buying the house right then and there and all the furniture. I just purchased a new house a few weeks ago so I couldn't justify getting another one. But, the didn't stop me from appreciating all the glorious decor that LeeZu had to offer!

For the donation item LeeZu set out a mesh bowl and lamp. Great modern design. I was especially fond of the house set up. I wanted every single piece of furniture in there.

Scarlet Creative by Charlotte Bartlett

I was really excited to see Scarlet Creative at the expo. I happen to be living in one of the houses featured here this year. I really love the modern and creative design of all her houses. I snuck into one of the houses to snap some photos. I really enjoy how you're giving a clean palette to work with. Most of the houses are textured in very neutral tones which makes it ubber easy to decor in a wide range of colours.

Artilleri by Antonia Marat

I've always had a thing for Artilleri furniture. I love how the pieces can fit in a modern house or a retro one. I always have a few pieces from there in each of my houses.

Artilleri has two things out for RFL. I loved both of these items. 

Also a huge fan of this record player. ;)

My last stop for the day was at Cheeky Pea by Isla Gealach

I was so impressed by this house I spent most of my time there walking around. It is not only well designed but so well decorated I wanted to move right in. Most of the pieces are for sale as well, so make sure you browse the selection and pick up a few things!! This house is available for viewing at two locations - the expo and Cheeky Pea's main store.

Fool in Love

I haven't been around a lot, so to actually be able to show off some brand new stuff is a treat for me!!! 

First up is this new dress from Gloxx. This store is quite new on the grid and I think there is a lot of potential. The designer Nanaa Dinzeo is making a whole bunch of mesh items and this dress in particular caught my eye. It's available in a bunch of different colours.

I was flipping through Dasia Admiral blog and saw that she took some great pics at this location. It's truly a beautiful spot so thanks Dasia for sharing it!!!

Also, very happy that CaTwa has a new release called Dolly. This is a pulled back half-up do. It has tiny braids on each side and loads of great colour options.

The purse is a rockin' grab from Ricielli at Culture Shock 2012 (still open 'til the 28th). I will probably head back and pick it up in some more colours.

I am wearing the newest of group gifts from IKON. These eyes are so lovely. They're honestly one of my favourite on the grid. I pretty much wear IKON all the time. There were three gifts available but only for a limited time. Hopefully you were able to grab them, too.

Shag has put out this hairstyle for the Fashionably Late event. The curled up sides of the hair mixed with the roots inspired me to make a sorta retro glam look. I paired it with some retro accessories from Dark Mouse and another great MONS dress.

Stella Was a Driver

There were tons of great things out this week. I decided to show off my favourites.

First up was this AMAZING new style from Shag called "Stella Was A Driver". It was featured in this week's Project Themeory. But should now be available in all tones at the mainstore. What's great about this style is that it's scripted so you can have earmuffs or not. It's perfect for winter and you know you'll be able to use it again after winter is finished. That's a win-win situation in my books!

When I saw the new boots at MONS I practically flung myself down there. I'm LOVIN' these boots. They are so many different colour options, I didn't know where to begin. I decided to go with a nice neutral tone to go with the new League jacket featured at Zombiepopcorn Dark Magic Winter event. The jacket will be there 'til the 15th and then you'll be able to find it at the mainstore.

Was happy to see Indy has started releasing some winter grabs. I really love the accessories from that store. Needless to say when I saw the new earrings I scooped em up! I paired them with the BRAND NEW dress from The Sea Hole. I cannot even tell you how much I drooled over this dress. I saw the ad and I fell for the rainwater colour. There is just something very captivating about this particular colour. The dress does come in many more shades so make sure you go and take a peek.

It was pure luck that Mstyle released the new "DiDi" shoes right before I started taking pics for this blog. I was able to find a colour that went nicely with the dress.

She's like the wind

CaTwA has been on a roll lately, with back to back release! I can barely keep up (lol). Make sure you head down to the main store for a demo. OR you can get demos delivered right to you via marketplace.

In this post I'm showing off the style I like the best. It's called Marina and it's another one of those gorgeous blowing in the wind hairstyles. It comes in many different shades and even has some shades with roots. Also, there are two poses included!

I'm also wearing the brand new skin from MONS! It's called Nil and I'm wearing it in the tan tone. It comes with different brow and cleavage options. I really like how MONS is giving brows options in a tattoo layer, it makes things so much easier! I plan on showing off this skin a little more. Stay tuned!

It's the simple life for me

I really like the rustic nature of this shot. I'm wearing some comfies and chilling in my pixel pick up. It can't get much better than that.

If you didn't already know Aoharu is having a HUGE sale!! I cannot remember the last time there was a sale so make sure you head down and take advantage of it - ASAP. I picked up all the things I've been really wanting. Including this jacket. I have it in another colour and I thought one more couldn't hurt.

Also! There is a brand new release from Izzie's! I'm really stoked by these eyes. They come with prim options so that means you can have different coloured eyes. I personally love wearing two different colour eyes so I'm ubber pumped that Izzie is offering this option.

I'm also wearing the new Izzie's release for Fashionably Late. For the price of one you get jean shorts and full length jeans. Pretty awesome!

Odela's Fringe

Very excited to show you the new stuff from Izzie's and M O N S.

M O N S just released this brand new skin called "Odela".

I am wearing the "Odela" tan skin with the Odeal shape. What's really great about this skin is that you can buy either the brown brows and the blonde brows, whichever you wear more.

I'm only showing some of the many makeup options. There are 6 different eyeshadows and 15 different lipsticks. You'll be able to play with different makeup combinations for a long long time! lol

I am loving this new top from Izzie's! It's great for the summer look. I decided to throw it over bikini bottoms but this shirt could work with shorts, jeans or a skirt. I really like all the colours this top comes in. I'm only showing a few but there are tons more available at the store.

Alva

Brand new from LAQ is the realistic skin called "Alva". Alva is perfection! She comes with 5 different options in each skin tone. I'm a fan of the Peach tone but I'm considering going back for another tone. Alva is def worth the price and you won't be disappointed. Make sure you go try a demo!

Also showing the brand new hair from Shag. If you haven't seen the ad for this hair then you need to go look at at the Shag blog page. It features the wonderful Ms. Strawberry Singh and she looks great. The ad alone sold me on this hair.

The hair comes in many different colours and has the new roots hair texture. It has adorable chopsticks in the back that have two different wood options. As well you can change the colour of the hanging pendents. Another awesome feature is that you can remove these chopsticks all together. Shag has totally been on the ball lately with all his new releases! Thanks Sebastien!!!

This top is soooooo well detailed. I love the ruffle on the shoulder and I wanted to create the same feel on the bottom so I used this COCO skirt. The hair I'm wearing is featured at MSW as well.

I especially love the way these eyes look with this Al Vulo skin. The skin is featured at MSW and such a great price! You have to pick one up. The eyes are a newer release from FASHISM eyes. They're stunning!!! If you don't own a pair of FASHISM eyes you're missing out.
