I've been meaning to post for a while, but I've been a bit caught up in RL lately. I'm happy I've finally gotten the chance to snap some pics. 

A little while ago KIM came out with these great summer mesh shorts. They come in seven different colours and all standard sizes. I paired them up with another new accessory release from KIM.

Gloxx has also released these cute shirts. I decided to go with the purple, pink and black one to match the purple lipstick from Pekka.

Where Have You Been

I finally got to spend some quality time with my best friend Phedre, and of course we went shopping. We were both excited about the new releases from Maitreya. They've come out with new hair, bags, pants, shirts and dresses. It's a great start for their summer collection. 

Maitreya has released new MESH hair, and it was totally worth the wait!!!!!!! Both Phe and I picked it up. It comes with a hud so you can change the colour of the hat and the string colours. 

We ended up exploring this amazing sim called Selidor. It's truly unique, and a great location for pictures. There are many different areas from a little town, a temple and even a pirate cove. I'll def be spending more time there, soon. 

I paired up the new hair with the new dress from Maitreya. It comes in two different patterns, the flowery one I'm wearing and a striped one. It's mesh, of course and comes in standard sizing. It's great for your summer collection. 

I'm also very excited that Redgrave has come out with a new shoe. I love this strappy sandal. I ended up buying the fatpack in order to get all the different colour options. 

Phedre grabbed the newest summer release from MONS. This dress is really cute, and it's love cut in the back. I also really love the length of it. She teamed it up with the new slink sandals and it's a great look. 

I am really looking forward to seeing what else summer trends have in store!!!

Culture Shock 2012

The 2nd annual Culture Shock has begun! This event opened on May 4th and will close on May 26th. It's a great even featuring art, music and tons of exclusive fashion.

Every store has a mandatory participation of one NEW and EXCLUSIVE (for the duration of the event) item that gives 50 - 100% of the profits to the charity. The proceeds from this even are going to Medicins Sans Frontieres (Doctors without Borders). Boots from N-core?!?!?!?! What?!?! I had a mini freak out when I tried on the latest release from N-core. They are perfection in a shoe. I have a feeling they're going to be one of the best boots of 2012. There are so many different options. You can change the socks, the laces, the heel, sole, etc... This is a fatpack MUST! Believe me ;)

Now, let's talk about Izzie and how she's been pumping out new skins. Her latest is called Brianna and I've seen her popping up everywhere on the grid. She's quite beautiful. For this post I wore the pale version. But, I plan on wearing a few other tones very soon.

Limited

Today marks the start of a new round of Limited Couture, a new fashion event where the participating designers offer an exclusive version of their favorite creation and only 100 units of this item are sold! There are many great grabs there, so make sure you check it out. I, myself really enjoy the idea of owning limited clothes. I scoped up this great outfit by Izzie. I love the tucked blouse with the tweet pants. It's perfect for the classy look.

On another note, my FAVOURITE eye store FASHISM is closed!!!! Now, don't worry because this is just a temp thing. The in-world store is closed until Feb-2012 and is being rebranded (new name unknown) and remodeled. New products lines are coming, too. Ooooh yah! I'm so excited to see what else is going to be released. :) All eyes are still available on Marketplace and are on sale for only L$100 until 1/31/12.

Winter is here!

My favourite season is finally here. I loooooove winter. I love the snow and the cold weather. I love wearing winter clothes and cuddling in front of a warm fire. It's really the perfect season, if you're okay with the cold.

I asked one of my besties Phedre to join me on this post. We headed done to Izzie's sim to play in all the winter glory. Izzie has decorated her sim so beautifully. The ground and trees are covered with snow and there are some fun winter props to play with. It was a great place to snap a few photos.

Stella Was a Driver

There were tons of great things out this week. I decided to show off my favourites.

First up was this AMAZING new style from Shag called "Stella Was A Driver". It was featured in this week's Project Themeory. But should now be available in all tones at the mainstore. What's great about this style is that it's scripted so you can have earmuffs or not. It's perfect for winter and you know you'll be able to use it again after winter is finished. That's a win-win situation in my books!

When I saw the new boots at MONS I practically flung myself down there. I'm LOVIN' these boots. They are so many different colour options, I didn't know where to begin. I decided to go with a nice neutral tone to go with the new League jacket featured at Zombiepopcorn Dark Magic Winter event. The jacket will be there 'til the 15th and then you'll be able to find it at the mainstore.

Was happy to see Indy has started releasing some winter grabs. I really love the accessories from that store. Needless to say when I saw the new earrings I scooped em up! I paired them with the BRAND NEW dress from The Sea Hole. I cannot even tell you how much I drooled over this dress. I saw the ad and I fell for the rainwater colour. There is just something very captivating about this particular colour. The dress does come in many more shades so make sure you go and take a peek.

It was pure luck that Mstyle released the new "DiDi" shoes right before I started taking pics for this blog. I was able to find a colour that went nicely with the dress.

Grenade

Showing off a few goodies from this week's GFW! I love sales. I know you do, too!

Don't even get me started on how much I'm digging this sweater from Hollipocket. It's a must have. It comes with two different colours in each pack. There are also two neck options. It's my favourite item this week! I paired it up with the beautiful high-waist skirt from The Secret Store. I am planning to go back and buy the fat pack of these skirts. They're so well made.

For my second outfit, I wore these brown/blue jeans. They're pretty neat. They've got a cowboy feel to them so I thought I'd play that up. I paired it with another GFW item - a necklace from LOULOU.

The tattoo that's worn in both pics is from Tenjin. This tattoo place is a store that's only recently come onto my radar and I haven't been disappointed with any of the latest releases. This particular tattoo is on the upper stomach and chest and covers a bit of the shoulder blade too.

OMG!!!! I recently came across this fabulous new (to me) hair stored called "Sugarsmack". The blonde highlighted tones and really awesome hairstyles drew me in. I loved literally everything!!! I am only showing one style today, but I plan and featuring some more styles from there ASAP. If you've never heard of Sugarsmack then head on down and try out a few demos.

P.s. Izzie's has just come out with a brand new pose set designed specifically for pencil skirts. Any woman out there who blogs or just takes a lot of pics needs this pack. These are such a great investment. You'll find yourself using them again and again. I've only had them for a day and I've already managed to use them. I'm sure they'll come in handy in the future as well.

She's like the wind

In this post I'm showing off the style I like the best. It's called Marina and it's another one of those gorgeous blowing in the wind hairstyles. It comes in many different shades and even has some shades with roots. Also, there are two poses included!

I'm also wearing the brand new skin from MONS! It's called Nil and I'm wearing it in the tan tone. It comes with different brow and cleavage options. I really like how MONS is giving brows options in a tattoo layer, it makes things so much easier! I plan on showing off this skin a little more. Stay tuned!

Perfect Love. Perfect Trust.

So my friends and I were chit-chatting about Halloween. Talking about costumes we were going to wear and what movies we wanted to watch. Someone brought up "The Craft", and we all started gushing about how we loved that movie. Gushing turned into dressing up and dressing up led to some pictures.

We were able to find this great little circle prop from the Marketplace. I already had a birdcage and someone had a fishbowl. We had our circle ready to go!

Gotta love that movie. It's one of the only witch themed movies that really sticks out in my mind. I still remember trying to play "stiff as a board, light as a feather" with my friends.

It's all Fall

I got to spend the afternoon with some of my closest friends in SL. It was pretty nice. I even managed to convince one of them to pose with me for my first official Fall post. I loved the outfit Phedre was wearing, especially the tights. I also spotted some items that I also have. Do you and your friends ever end up buying the same things? It happens a lot with Phe and I. It's not like we even shop together but somehow we manage to buy the same thing and sometimes it's even in the same colour! lol

We've both had our eyes on the new release from CatWa. It was just lucky that we ended up wearing different styles. CatWa has just release 4 new hairstyles. The style I'm wearing has a script to change high-light colours! It's great. Make sure you swing by the main store to try on the demos. Bring your friends! ;)

I feel stupid and contagious

Remember grunge? It was that time when music became distorted and punkie. Whenever that word comes up my mind goes directly to music. Perhaps because that era of fashion was sorta ignored and forgotten about as it's considered a mishap in fashion. But, it was a time when being unkempt and grungy was hot. LOL.

I wasn't old enough to really appreciate the grunge era but looking back I can def say "whoa". Gotta miss those plaid shirts wrapped around the waist and ripped, baggy jeans. I don't think I could have ever been a success grunge dresser. Although, I really wish I'd been a Nirvana child.

I decided to make an attempt at a grunge look. And I know, it's not very grungy! What can I say?! I'm featuring a few projects from the Grunge Soul Project. I picked up this outfit and a skin. HUMANOID -> Saw this amazing sim on the feeds a while back. It's soooooooooo neat. So many different scenes and creations. It's a great place to take pictures and an interesting place to explore.

My favourite thing to do is drift around the grid. Mostly my exploring is done at different shopping malls (lol). I came across this hair store called "Angel Hair". It's not very often that I find a really really really good hair store. This place is totally a hidden gem. Recently, it just opened up it's second location on the Glam Affair sim. CandyDoll has been my "go to" skin lately. I haven't been able to take off Lilly so naturally I was ubber excited to see two skins being featured at Culture Shock. Sabrina and Isabelle are stunning and super cute.

Sabrina is a very soft looking skin. I really liked how it looked in pale. I added a beauty mark from L.Fauna to compliment it. I especially love the eye liner.
