Catching up

This post is long overdue! I recently had the chance to hang out with one of my closest friends in SL. I first met Kaelyn shopping... surprise surprise. We hit it off instantly. Shopping has a way of bringing ladies together. Since that day we've pretty much been best buddies. We try and spend time together when our schedules will permit. It's been difficult lately because I'm on a completely different time zone. So I'm waking up when she's heading to bed and vice versa.

I was able to steal Kae away from blogging and Tris for a few hours and we decided to head to a cafe to catch up. It amazing how much we have to talk about.

So my friends and I were chit-chatting about Halloween. Talking about costumes we were going to wear and what movies we wanted to watch. Someone brought up "The Craft", and we all started gushing about how we loved that movie. Gushing turned into dressing up and dressing up led to some pictures.

We were able to find this great little circle prop from the Marketplace. I already had a birdcage and someone had a fishbowl. We had our circle ready to go!

Gotta love that movie. It's one of the only witch themed movies that really sticks out in my mind. I still remember trying to play "stiff as a board, light as a feather" with my friends.

These little sandals are walking me around

So, I'm a little bit behind on posting. (Side note: when I say a little, I mean a shit-ton). I'm trying to catch up but I've just come back from RL vacation. Please stick with me as I get up to date on all the goodies out on the grid.

My favourite release of last month was these amazing sandals from N-Core. Talk about hitting it out of the ball park. These sandals come in two versions. These shoes either come with a flower patterned or a solid texture. There are so many different colours to choose from. Because of the other whelming about of options I'm only able to show you a few of the selection. My advice is, that if you like these shoes head over to N-Core to see the selection available. Always remember fat packs are always an acceptable splurge. ;)

Dress me up!

My friend and I were discussing why we liked SL the other day. We both came to the conclusion it's because of the shopping. It's like we're little girls again, playing dress up with our Barbies. Except this time we get to customize EVERYTHING! The clothes, shoes and accessories are a thousand times better.

I wanted to show off a lot. Each of these outfits features a new-ish piece from a fabulous designer. I was eager to share it.

I really have to say that I'm a bargain shopper. Every blogger knows that this isn't a cheap hobby. It's expensive keeping up with the latest trends. So, needless to say when I see a sale I run!! For that reason I'm a huge fan of hunts, TFG, TDR, FLF, SBS and Lazy Sunday. If I failed to mention any, my bad!

New stuff at TFG! Woohoo! I'm always a happy girl when I get that notice. I grabbed this skin and these rocking earrings. The earrings come with three different versions, which is a great deal at only 70L$. I am wearing the new top and shoes from G-Field. Both are terrific. I really loved the boots. The skirt from Nyte N' Day is also new!!!

The Return of Vanity Circus

I first started blogging on my own blog in late 2009. I had a passion for shopping and wanted to make myself feel better about spending copious amounts on digital fashion. Close to a year later I found myself too busy in RL to keep up with things in SL. So, I deleted my blog.

I was asked by my close friend Lorellai Kondor to be a guest blogger on her site. I couldn't have been more honoured by the invitation as she was and still is one of my favourite bloggers.

However, now I'm able to balance my time. So for the time being I'm setting out to blog on my own again. I will continue to guest blog for Lorellai as well. I look forward to sharing my stylings with you and hearing your opinions!! :) <3 Temp
