Ikonic Temptations

I haven't given up on blogging completely... but, this post is going to be sweet and simple.

I wanted to blog about some of my favourite things right now. First off are the beautiful new eternal eyes from Ikon!!!! I LOVE THESE eyes. The colours and reflections make them look so real. Tons and tons of colours available. Also, the eyes come in different sizes so you can make them look more animated if you prefer.

Also, I'm a fan of the Shyla skin. It's been awhile since I've bought a Belleza skin and I was so impressed by this one when I tried on the demo. I had a heck of a time choosing a skin tone tho. After much debate, I decided to go a little more tan that usual. I really like how exotic it looks.

I paired the eyes and skin with a new-ish release from Exile.

I took the picture myself but my bestie Phedre played around with it in PS. She's a doll!!!

Vintage Fair 2012 - Part One

Sorry for the lateness of my Vintage Fair posting. I've been doing some RL travelling so I haven't had a lot of time to be online. But, when I was able to sit down at my computer I raced over to this year's Vintage Fair.

Vintage Fair started on August 4th and will finish on August 29th. About a month of 250+ bands showing off their finest vintage wear. The event is spread over three different sims. If you'd like to browse some items that are available this year. Head over to Seraphim, there is an excellent overview of all the items.

If you're looking for specific stores and URLS then you're going to want to go to Chic Management's Vintage Fair page. It'll give you all the direct LMs, which is a huge time saver.

I am in LOVE with the new Betty skin from Belleza. I splurged a little bit and got fatpack in one tone. It was by far the right decision. I just love love love the face of this skin. I'll be wearing it for my other posts to show off the different makeup and just how versatile this skin is.

Also, so pumped about these N-core shoes! They're beautiful. N-core released two different shoes for the event. I'm wearing Lulu in black. This shoe comes with an ankle strap option as well.

Temp's Travel Diaries - Thailand

I decided to start off the first leg of my adventures in Thailand - the ultimate hideout for the paradise lover. It's a relaxing place with friendly people, amazing food and the most beautiful beaches in the world. Once you set foot in Thailand you won't want to leave. I managed to make my way into Bangkok but having just escaped the city life I continued onwards to Phuket a gorgeous stretch of beach, hotels and clubs. My ideal hideout.

I was in a local bar with a beer in my hand when I met him. He had the swagger of a traveller and the smooth tipped tongue of a man with confidence and intelligence. I was intrigued and we spent the afternoon and much of the night talking and drinking.

As we walked along the beach, he extended an offer to show me around. Having no travel companion, I decided I'd take him up on the offer. Besides, he was great company and easy on the eyes. ;0

He told me to pack a bag and get ready for the "time of my life." Hmm...

When I met up with him again the following morning we started off on a small journey by boat, and then by foot. I was tired, sweaty and starting to question if it was a good idea to join this stranger as we hiked into the unknown. I was about to turn back when we came into a clearing encompassed by tall cliffs and a small bay. I felt like I had just walked into the movie the "Beach". It was remote and absolutely stunning with blue skies and teal water.

My beautiful stranger grinned and pointed to a villa (of course), "My home".

Whoa....

The next few days turned into week as I laid in the sun and ate fresh seafood. He was fantastic in more ways than one.

It turned out he's an internet millionaire, cashed in on some website that blew up and went vital over night. Since then he's lived quite comfortably in the privacy of his jungle home. I can't blame him. His small paradise was the stuff of dreams.

Finally, it was time to leave my new friend and his perfect slice of paradise. I had places to go and more people to meet. I said goodbye, kissed my friend and took one long look at cove before I hiked down the path and back across the water.

As I boarded my flight I knew that I'd be back. Thailand captured a little piece of me.

Thailand - you have my heart and soul.

And, I'm onto the next place!!!!

Leaves are slowly falling

I've finally gotten Kaelyn Alecto to be a guest on my blog. We were both ubber excited when we saw the new release from Shag - Falling Slowly. We were gushing about the style and the length and the texturing. We loved it so much we decided to wear it for this post.

If I haven't said it before I love Autumn. It's my favourite season. I love watching the leaves change colour and the weather getting chilly. When you live in a city you really begin to miss fall colours. I notice that on the feeds more and more people are starting to bring out the fall colours. I find myself doing the same thing. I just can't help it ;)

I really liked Kae's outfit. She wore this very drapey top and jean duo from Connors. It's perfect for this season.

Look at those SHOES! I mean c'mon... they're awesome. They're from a new (to me) store called "Leverocci". I had never been there until my friend told me I should check it out. Boy, was she right! I loved everything. I'll be heading back for more!!! Also, equally loving this new jacket from mon tissu.

These little sandals are walking me around

So, I'm a little bit behind on posting. (Side note: when I say a little, I mean a shit-ton). I'm trying to catch up but I've just come back from RL vacation. Please stick with me as I get up to date on all the goodies out on the grid.

My favourite release of last month was these amazing sandals from N-Core. Talk about hitting it out of the ball park. These sandals come in two versions. These shoes either come with a flower patterned or a solid texture. There are so many different colours to choose from. Because of the other whelming about of options I'm only able to show you a few of the selection. My advice is, that if you like these shoes head over to N-Core to see the selection available. Always remember fat packs are always an acceptable splurge. ;)

The Perfect Fit

Every summer I find myself going on the search for the perfect pair of jean shorts. This year my search took me to -paper.doll- Creator Zoey Gabardini has made terrific shorts called the "Rolled Denim Shorts".

They are the perfect fit, and I'll tell you why... They come with three different options. The regular "standard" fit, a pocket option and suspenders option. You get three different styles for the price of one.

You could literally wear these shorts all the time and have them look different each and every time you put em on!!! I suggest you get your pixel bottoms down there and get yourself a few pairs. I'm only showing a couple colours but don't worry these shorts WILL BE popping up in my posts again! ;)

Also wearing brand new hair from Exile called "Caitrin". I really like this wavy bob. Exile has just released a while bunch of new styles so check out the demos! I really LOVE the dog-tag necklace that Deke's wearing!!! I saw it on him a while ago and ran out to buy it. It comes in female and male sizing. I think Deke's outfit looks so effortless. Culture Shock (Part One) - Hucci & Shag

So... after battling the lag monster that is any major event I was able to pick up a few things from Culture Shock 2011. What can I say that you don't already know?

Aching for that summer heat

I recently got this really neat surfer set from "Tiki Tattoo". I love it. So many different animations available and the texturing is amazing. It's such a high quality set. It's perfect for the beach theme I have going on. If you've never been to "Tiki Tattoo" you're due for a visit. Loads of high quality tropical products.

HUGE fan of this necklace from "GaNKeD"! It's beautiful. I thought I'd pair it with a really simple summer look. I'm becoming a very dedicated stalker of Ronsem as well. I've gotten a few things from there and I've been impressed with all of my purchases.
