Ikonic Temptations

I haven't given up on blogging completely... but, this post is going to be sweet and simple.

I wanted to blog about some of my favourite things right now. First off are the beautiful new eternal eyes from Ikon!!!! I LOVE THESE eyes. The colours and reflections make them look so real. Tons and tons of colours available. Also, the eyes come in different sizes so you can make them look more animated if you prefer.

Also, I'm a fan of the Shyla skin. It's been awhile since I've bought a Belleza skin and I was so impressed by this one when I tried on the demo. I had a heck of a time choosing a skin tone tho. After much debate, I decided to go a little more tan that usual. I really like how exotic it looks.

I paired the eyes and skin with a new-ish release from Exile.

Some Chic² Motion

This post is a bit of a combination... I wanted to do some more CHIC coverage and I also wanted to talk about new stuff on the grid.

First off... Chic² is still in full swing until the 24th. I've been seeing such amazing things I couldn't help but go back for another look. With the double stacked display units packed with goodies I spent a lot time browsing and picked up some really good stuff. The dress (top), skin, and ring are all exclusive things form Chic².

Label Motion has a new location... and a new subscriber. Anne Dakun has released a new set of poses in celebration of the new location and build. This post set comes with two different cell phones and six poses . Hurry down to the new shop to get on the subscriber.

Also wanted to mention... when purchasing the Slink Ilena sandals they only go with the mesh rigged ones. Not the other... if you're a dumbie like me, you'll make that mistake even though the sign tells you. Yup... true story! Ty Sid Munro for being a super nice person to dumbies like me!! :)

Kate

Hart Larsson has just released his newest creation called "Kate". She is a great edition to his collection and one that I was eager to show off. I dressed up in this great find at The Sea Hole and wore the brand new shoes from NX. Overall, I think it turned out to be a really innocent look.

What I've always loved about PXL is the freckles on the skins. It gives you the option of youthful and fresh or mature and elegant. I love skins that can be versatile. I love all the makeups available with skin. It also has three brow options and tons of lipsticks too. You should jump over to PXL to try on a demo!

Bri's Coquette

I wanted to share some of my new favourite things (p.s. I have many favourite things). One of two newest releases from N-core is the Coquette platform. These shoes are just in time for spring and are packed with new spring colours, too. N-core can do no wrong in my books, so naturally I love these shoes. Head down to the main store to check out the selection. Remember, when in doubt, fat pack!

Another thing I wanted to show off is this beautiful new skin from Izzie's. Izzie Button has always made wonderful clothing. Recently, she told me she had tried her hand at skins before, but never had a passion for it until now. I def think it shows. She's just released three new skins and the latest one is called "Brianna". Bri has been put out in all the basic tones including one red head special edition - which I'm wearing. If you follow my blog -> Vanity Circus you know I usually stick to browns and blondes. I don't generally wear red hair. However, when I put on this redhead edition of the Brianna skin I feel in love. I love the freckles and the eyebrows and the softness of the face. It's so fresh and young, perfect for spring. A little bird told me that Izzie is busy working on more skins, and I can't wait to see what she comes out with next.

Bri's Euphoria

Boots from N-core?!?!?!?! What?!?! I had a mini freak out when I tried on the latest release from N-core. They are perfection in a shoe. I have a feeling they're going to be one of the best boots of 2012. There are so many different options. You can change the socks, the laces, the heel, sole, etc... This is a fatpack MUST! Believe me ;)

Now, let's talk about Izzie and how she's been pumping out new skins. Her latest is called Brianna and I've seen her popping up everywhere on the grid. She's quite beautiful. For this post I wore the pale version. But, I plan on wearing a few other tones very soon.

Care to mambo with Sophia?

I am so excited to show you the brand new Sophia from Mamboo Chic by Leona Olivieri. I have come to know Leona very well over the course of the year and I know she is one of the most dedicated and budding artists I've met. I've seen so much improvement since her first skin and I continue to be impressed with her new releases. I know for a fact that Leona has spent many hours perfecting this skin and she should be proud of its outcome.

Sophia comes in six different skin tones - Ebony, Honey, Ivory, Sunkissed, Tan, Tan2

I'd also like to point out that I'm wearing the fabulous new lingerie from Kim by Kimberly Flagon. What I love about this designer is that she's doesn't use templates. All pieces are original and hand drawn. This particular lingerie selection comes with many different options. You can wear different tops that are just black lace or add an extra flare with the leopard print. Kim has tons and tons of beautiful clothes, so make sure you head down there and shop around!

Leona has set out a few different purchase options for her new Sophia skin. You can buy two different fat packs. The first of which includes 1 base tone and 15 makeups. The other option is 1 base tone and lipsticks. You can also just get the base skin at L$850 and buy additional lipsticks/makeups separately.

Hair Fair 2011 - Part Four

This will be my last post for Hair Fair 2011 coverage. I realize I'm a tad-bit late but having just gotten back from RL vacation I figure now is better than never.

I was trying to aim for a french look with this hairstyle but I wasn't able to find any french-theme gowns that I truly loved. Then I remembered I had this stunning gown from Phoenix Rising. I decided to see if the store was still open. As my luck would have it. The inworld location is still available and EVERYTHING has been marked down to L$25 lindens. So, naturally I did a bit of shopping.

I was really excited about Exile's releases this year. I love the seashell, flower, ribbon combinations. All these hairs come with a colour change menu and an option to turn off the extra decoration.

Bubblegum & Beachwear

Gogo posted about a challenge on her blog - read here. Basically, she's really digging unnatural hair colours lately. She's encouraging everyone to wear their favourite bubblegum colours on Saturdays and Sundays! This is a great, and really fun idea. Thanks Gogo!

Wanted to let you know about a few things. First of all I'm wearing the great new Rock Me Amadeus Beachwear Collection. I love the texture on this skirt, it was a perfect match for the bubblegum theme! The Perfect Fit

Every summer I find myself going on the search for the perfect pair of jean shorts. This year my search took me to -paper.doll- Creator Zoey Gabardini has made terrific shorts called the "Rolled Denim Shorts".

They are the perfect fit, and I'll tell you why... They come with three different options. The regular "standard" fit, a pocket option and suspenders option. You get three different styles for the price of one.

You could literally wear these shorts all the time and have them look different each and every time you put em on!!! I suggest you get your pixel bottoms down there and get yourself a few pairs. I'm only showing a couple colours but don't worry these shorts WILL BE popping up in my posts again! ;)
