The Truth of it!

Today, I was asked by my close friend Kae what my favourite Truth hairstyle was. She's making a huge collection of people's fave Truth styles and their birthday wishes for him. Well, despite owning copious amounts of Truth hair one popped up right away. It was Makenzie. I adore this style, the poof-ed pulled back bangs, the long front pieces. I WANT IT TO BE MESH (WINKS). I'll cross my fingers and hope that Truth reads this. haha.

I've been cleaning out my inventory lately, making room for the new mesh products. When I came to my hair folder I got rid of tons and tons of old styles. However, the one store I couldn't delete was Truth. No matter how old Truth styles are, they're timeless and they're never really out of style.

Pink Silk and Sails

I've always been a huge fan of Izzie's. She's continuously releasing new items for hunts and events and her main store. I seriously don't know how she manages it, but I'm grateful. I was tickled to see a set of silk scarfs up for grabs as the TOSL hunt item. I decided to show off my pink scarf with a whole whack of other great items!

Along with the silk scarf, Izzie has released new flower flats. They are non rigged mesh and come in 15 different colours. Today, she also released her new heart shaped non rigged mesh bag. Lots is happening at Izzie's so make sure you pop down for a visit.

I am also wearing KIM's newer mesh summer shorts. These shorts come in a wide range of colours and are a must have for your summer wardrobe.

Cassandra

Cassandra is the brand new skin out from creator Izzie Button of Izzie's. This skin is super special to me in more ways than one and I am so excited to have the chance to show her off. I started this post on a Sunday and finished it on a Monday. It took some time putting together six different looks but I wanted to show off all the beautiful tones Cassandra is available in. It also gave me the opportunity to show some of the new stuff available on the grid.

Cassandra is available in 6 different tones - as seen above. I really can't tell you wish is my favourite tone. I was switching between caramel and sunkissed but I just can't make up my mind.

Izzie has a ton of makeups with this skin. Each tone pack comes with 10 different eyeshadows and 10 lipsticks. It also has the option of a light and dark eyebrow, cleavage and freckles option. On top of the makeup that is included Izzie also released a new set of ten eye liners and lip glosses. They are sold separate as add-ons. Another thing I adorable about Izzie's skin is that they come with a nail base add on so your nails will always blend in better!!!

So much MESH hair - I want it all. I really love wearing mesh hair and the more I wear it the harder it is to go back to non-mesh hair. I think with all the new releases it might be time to clean out my inventory and make room for some new stuff. I am quite the hair hoarder so it's going to be tough getting rid of it.

I am in love with Wasabi Pills. This is the first time I've blogged it - SHOCKED? Yeah, me too. I don't know why I wasn't all over this place before. But, I figure I can make up for missed time. Out of the mesh hair creators, Wasabi Pills is the only one (that I know of) to make hair according to boob size. So all you big breasted women, have no fear this hair will fit over your lovely ta-tas. :)

MAITREYA MESH! 'nough said! O-M-G, I literally wanted all of the new releases but unfortunately my linden budget wouldn't allow for it. So, I settled for these oh so couture leggings with a built in boot and a sexy draped creme sweater.

Kim's Newness

So many hunts happening right now! I really love hunts, you get all these amazing "gifts" and all you have to do is look for them. Seems pretty simple and totally worthwhile to me. I wanted to take some time out to point out a few of the goodies Kim has and had hidden. I really like KIM's style. Ton and tons of beautiful hand-drawn clothing. Her pieces are flowery & lacey mixed with a really saucy side. I love it all.

Week Three - Electric Indigo

Week three was pretty difficult. I tp-d around trying to find the right outfit. I asked my friends countless times "Does this look indigo to you?". Finally I arrived at Blah. and thank my lucky flippin' stars! I found this great jumpsuit in the colour I needed. I seriously love this outfit. I especially like the fact that it comes with a sock layer so the edge of the pants doesn't cut off abruptly.

P.s. have you seen the new N-core?! Well, I'm wearing them and they're dangerous. I mean... look at the spikes, you could hurt someone ;) I plan to wear them again since they're so neat. I'm loving how N-core took an older style and spiced it up.

My 100th with Mia

I am celebrating my 100th post today!!!!!

Now, why is my 100th post so important to me? Because it shows... commitment. lol. Plain and simple. I have the attention span of a gold fish. I have the best intentions when I set out to blog, but I always seem to get side tracked. This post took me about.... no, never mind, not going to say. lol. Having completed 100 posts shows me that my passion for fashion overweighs my flighty nature. (sometimes). Yah me!

I logged today with the intentions of blogging but I didn't know where to start as I wanted my 100th to be special. The "perfect" came with the new release of Lara Hurley's "Mia" skin.

Out today, Mia comes in 5 different skin tone and ten different and beautiful makeup options. If you buy a fat pack (and really... why wouldn't you?) you get 11 skins, 10 lipsticks available in tattoo layers and 9 makeup tattoo layers! It also comes with a lighter eyebrow tattoo and a breast enhancer.

I was really excited as I flicked through all the makeups. They're so smouldering and sexy. And makeup is always fun to play with. Anyone who knows me in SL, knows that I spend most of my time walking around in Hurley skins. It's such a great skin and because of all the options it feels new every time I wear it.

Don't even get me started on all the MESH I'm wearing. I was on mesh overload today. I finally gave in and downloaded the newest viewer so I could enjoy all these beautiful clothes. Like me, if you're hesitant to try a new mesh capable viewer, don't be! I waited so long, too stubborn to give up Phoenix (p.s newest version is mesh capable). I wish I'd done it sooner because mesh clothing is a whole new world - who knew?!

Week One - Champagne

Unfortunately I wasn't involved in last year's 52 weeks of colour. However, I did follow through many of my favourite bloggers. I've decided to take part in it this year since I often find it difficult to follow through with things.

This week's colour was Champagne. :) I immediately thought of the Maitreya shirt. I paired it with some tights and a great pair of mesh boots featured at the last FLF. I'm also still wearing the new skin Sophia from Mamboo Chic. I can't take it off! :)

I really wanted to do an in world shot, at least something with a better background. But, my computer wasn't having it. I kept crashing. So, for this post I'll have to settle for the outfit layout. At least I've gotten my first week under my belt ;)

Brand new shoes out at N-core. When I tried these shoes on, I was so impressed. The name Poison is perfect for this new shoe. It's sexy and fierce and so very saucy. You have to go get a pair for yourself.

The brand new C88 is out! This collection is huge. It now has two rooms and tons more of selection. I picked up this dress and necklace. I think this dress is absolutely stunning. I love the lace top and the fit of the skirt. For only 88L$ you can't go wrong! I also picked up this skin from C88. I love the eyes and the lips on this Illusory skin. The were perfect when paired with the new hair from Truth. This hair is big and beautiful!!!

I've been meaning to blog this first look for a while now. I really loved this round of Collabor88. So many goodies! I think I bought the whole place out. My favourite grabs were this dress, bangles and skin. I haven't been able to take off this Illusory skin. It went perfectly with Sugarsmack's Cole hairstyle. I finished it off with one of two great new releases from Kalnins Fashion - Lizette. I'm really happy to see Kalnins coming out with new stuff. The shoe comes with a great little hud so you're able to change the shoe to fit whatever outfit you want. I hope to show off the other new release, too.

For my second look... I was so pumped to see that Bebe Doll released this brand new sweater dress. I love the designs round the midsection. You know it's just one of those must have winter outfits. I paired it up with the brand new hair from Truth. I'm all about side-styled looks. Like all things Truth, this hair is awesome! I put on this AMAZING skin from PXL called Gaia. I bought it about a month ago. I've been meaning to do a blog post to show it off a bit more, so look back this weekend. ;)

Mamboo Chic - Meet Megan

Mamboo Chic by Leona Olivieri has comes out with a brand new skin called "Megan". Leona has truly outdone herself with this skin. I am so impressed. She should really be proud of it. It's clear that this skin is a true example of her progress since the beginning of her career. There are so many enhancements including better seams and more shadowing/detail around the neck and other areas.

It comes in 5 different skin tones (Caramel, Ebony, Fair, Honey and Tan). Also there are 8 different lipsticks and 15 makeups in tat layers. You better get into the Mamboo Chic VIP group because Leona is sending out a freebie skin in the fair tone!

I'm also wearing one of the new styles from Mr. Truth Hawks. It's called Isla and it's a beautiful and soft updo. I really like the folds of the hair and how it tucks in nicely at the back. I picked up the brown pack for myself.

Brand new from CandyDoll are these boyfriend Pjs! The top is a deep v-neck cut with a little bow/knot prim on the side. It comes with brief bottoms that hike up at the back.

The jewellery I'm wearing is new from both creators. They're both must have pieces that can go with any outfits. You'll probably catch me wearing them again.

First time is a charm!

I really like this dress from KIM. It's awesome that it comes with two different colours for such a great price. As well, this skin and hair are a near steal.

I feel stupid and contagious

Remember grunge? It was that time when music became distorted and punkie. Whenever that word comes up my mind goes directly to music. Perhaps because that era of fashion was sorta ignored and forgotten about as it's considered a mishap in fashion. But, it was a time when being unkempt and grungy was hot. LOL.

I wasn't old enough to really appreciate the grunge era but looking back I can def say "whoa". Gotta miss those plaid shirts wrapped around the waist and ripped, baggy jeans. I don't think I could have ever been a success grunge dresser. Although, I really wish I'd been a Nirvana child.

I decided to make an attempt at a grunge look. And I know, it's not very grungy! What can I say?! I'm featuring a few projects from the Grunge Soul Project. I picked up this outfit and a skin. I really LOVE the dog-tag necklace that Deke's wearing!!! I saw it on him a while ago and ran out to buy it. It comes in female and male sizing. I think Deke's outfit looks so effortless. The cardi is awesome and the t-shirt underneath is a little see-through. Yummy! Overall, I'm thinking he looks pretty darn good. I'm sure he'd agree.
