Red Lipstick

You know it's go-time when a woman puts on red lipstick. I really love the dramatic effect of a dark lip colour, and LiSse's lipsticks are no exception. I am wearing Lisse's (formely Mamboo Chic) Melina in the honey tone by Leona Olivieri. I love how exotic this skin is, and how much richness there is in this particular skin tone. I've been wearing it for days eagerly awaiting Lisse's new release.

Also, very excited to be wearing one of Lamb's hair styles from this year's Hair Fair. I love the way this hair style flows and I especially love the texture.

Izzie has out a brand new line of eyes called "Deep dark eyes", and well these eyes are deep and dark. They come in ten different colours and are meant to be worn with dark skin tones. Read more on Izzie's blog.

I have to say that since mesh came out Ricielli is one of the stores at the top of my mesh clothing list. I have been a huge fan of all their releases. I ended up walking around the sim and stumbled across a hunt. It feels like there is always a hunt going on there, and that's fine by me. I picked up this beautiful strapless dress for L$15. I paired them up with my favourite N-cores. I stopped by Je Suis because there is a moving sale happening. Most of their items are marked down, so now is the time to stock up on jewellery.

Devoured by Paradise

It's been soooo long since I've blogged and this time I've got an excellent excuse. I've been on vacation!!!!!! I cannot even begin to tell you how wonderful it was. I don't usually share pictures from RL but because I loved Bali so much I wanted to share it with my readers.

This pictures shows the rice fields and assorted greenery. It is so lush and beautiful.

I went on a cycling excursion one day and we stopped to eat at a restaurant. This was a view of a volcano and the surrounding area.

My favourite part was seeing the village children. They were so eager to see foreigners and they'd wave and shout "hello". They were especially excited when I asked to take their photo.

Tons of people were carrying heavy loads on their heads. I don't know how they do it.

On another day I went into Monkey Forest. These monkeys go nuts for bananas. 

I thought the trees in the forest were especially interesting. Their vines grew down and they were just so large and lush.

Now, a little bit of blogging. I was hanging out with my friend Tristan and he needed some help with a picture. Look at his photo - > HERE. Of course, I hadn't been shopping for a while, so it gave me the perfect excuse to get a new outfit. I swung by Wasabi Pills to pick up the latest FLF item and then headed over to FaMeshed. I got this awesome maxi dress from Aura. There were so many different colours to choose from, I had a tough time deciding. But, I went with the Blue Jay and I'm ubber happy I did. I then jumped over to C88 to browse the new collection. O-m-g so many amazing items. I picked up the bangles and rings and a necklace. I'll be heading back to C88 to pick up some more!

Pink Silk and Sails

I've always been a huge fan of Izzie's. She's continuously releasing new items for hunts and events and her main store. I seriously don't know how she manages it, but I'm grateful. I was tickled to see a set of silk scarfs up for grabs as the TOSL hunt item. I decided to show off my pink scarf with a whole whack of other great items!

Along with the silk scarf, Izzie has released new flower flats. They are non rigged mesh and come in 15 different colours. Today, she also released her new heart shaped non rigged mesh bag. Lots is happening at Izzie's so make sure you pop down for a visit.

I am also wearing KIM's newer mesh summer shorts. These shorts come in a wide range of colours and are a must have for your summer wardrobe.

Drunk on Love

I've been meaning to post for a while, but I've been a bit caught up in RL lately. I'm happy I've finally gotten the chance to snap some pics. 

A little while ago KIM came out with these great summer mesh shorts. They come in seven different colours and all standard sizes. I paired them up with another new accessory release from KIM.

Gloxx has also released these cute shirts. I decided to go with the purple, pink and black one to match the purple lipstick from Pekka.

Where Have You Been

I finally got to spend some quality time with my best friend Phedre, and of course we went shopping. We were both excited about the new releases from Maitreya. They've come out with new hair, bags, pants, shirts and dresses. It's a great start for their summer collection. 

Maitreya has released new MESH hair, and it was totally worth the wait!!!!!!! Both Phe and I picked it up. It comes with a hud so you can change the colour of the hat and the string colours. 

We ended up exploring this amazing sim called Selidor. It's truly unique, and a great location for pictures. There are many different areas from a little town, a temple and even a pirate cove. I'll def be spending more time there, soon. 

I paired up the new hair with the new dress from Maitreya. It comes in two different patterns, the flowery one I'm wearing and a striped one. It's mesh, of course and comes in standard sizing. It's great for your summer collection. 

I'm also very excited that Redgrave has come out with a new shoe. I love this strappy sandal. I ended up buying the fatpack in order to get all the different colour options. 

Phedre grabbed the newest summer release from MONS. This dress is really cute, and it's love cut in the back. I also really love the length of it. She teamed it up with the new slink sandals and it's a great look. 

I am really looking forward to seeing what else summer trends have in store!!!

Some Chic² Motion

This post is a bit of a combination... I wanted to do some more CHIC coverage and I also wanted to talk about new stuff on the grid.

First off... Chic² is still in full swing until the 24th. I've been seeing such amazing things I couldn't help but go back for another look. With the double stacked display units packed with goodies I spent a lot time browsing and picked up some really good stuff. The dress (top), skin, and ring are all exclusive things form Chic².

Label Motion has a new location... and a new subscriber. Anne Dakun has released a new set of poses in celebration of the new location and build. This post set comes with two different cell phones and six poses . Hurry down to the new shop to get on the subscriber.

Also wanted to mention... when purchasing the Slink Ilena sandals they only go with the mesh rigged ones. Not the other... if you're a dumbie like me, you'll make that mistake even though the sign tells you. Yup... true story! Ty Sid Munro for being a super nice person to dumbies like me!! :)

CHIC²

It's Chic Management's 2nd birthday and to celebrate there will be another great event!! WOOHOO! It's called CHIC²! At the event there will about 150 brands with one new and exclusive product. The event opens on June 3rd and closes on the 24th.

I dropped into the event for a little sneak peak and picked up a few things. One of which was a dress by Izzie. I was equally lucky that Izzie just so happened to be available to snap some pics of her new Anne dress.

The Anne dress comes in six different colours, which are all exclusive at CHIC².

As well as the dress, I picked up Wasabi Pill's brand new release called Anais 2. I'm so excited to see the braids with the let down hair.

I am also wearing another exclusive CHIC² item from Al Vulo. It's called Baba2 and I am loving the details on this skin. I especially love the eyeshadows. I paired it with another CHIC² item from Pekka. All in all, CHIC² is amazing!!
